Hi Stuart
Thanks for the reply but I now have Kermit up and running again. When I first
acquired EMIS I bought Procomm Plus for Windows but never managed to get the
exact keyboard config right and eventually gave up. I think in general that
the program is way over the top for just simple access to a remote computer
and takes up oodles of disk space on full installation. If it's really good
then I might have another go - any chance of sharing your .kbd file?
Do you have your system set up in CS, VL as a PC or PROCOMM? I always found
this affects the way the screen is displayed and whether or not Mentor works
or not.
Regards
Peter

Subject: Re: Remote access (EMIS)
I access EMIS regularly from home. I use Procomm for Windows 2.1 which I
have used both under Windows 3.11 and windows 95. You need to set up a
keyboard file which uses the EMIS mappings for the function keys. I can
print to the local (Home) printer in Windows 3.11 but not from Windows 95.
Let me know if you need further details or I could send you the Keyboard
file.
Stuart
