Hi David, we meet again :-)
I think it's OK to sig
"David"
It's also OK to sig
"David, GP"
It's probably OK to sig (If you still are doing it!)
"David Rayne, GP, Forum Manager, Microsoft Network"
It's probably *not* OK to sig
"David Rayne, GP, Forum Manager, Microsoft Network, Microsoft Corp, Source of
all manner of wonderful things that Microsoft sell, e.g. Operating systems,
software, Internet access and browsers, etc., etc.
IMHO anyone remotely interested in your field will already know of your
products and such a sig file must therefore be advertising to those who do not
and this is not an appropriate place to do so.
Regards
Peter
P.S. Recalling one of earliest conversations; I, too, now have a pipeline
burst cache *and* it's bigger than yours. Not sure whether I'm using it at the
moment though!

Subject: sigs
There was some debate here a week or so ago about whether sigs are seen as
unaccepatble advertising or useful information about the poster.
Was a concensus reached - and if so what was it?
