In my generation of GP´s, most of us think of isolated hypotension -
i.e. «low» blood pressure and fainting in the absence of clinical signs
of disease - as an equivalent of depression (or distymia) or anxiety.
Most of the patients I see with these complains are women in middle-age.
It generaly improves with fluvoxamin or fluoxetin. It recurs when
treatment is stopped. Some do respond on sulpiride.
