I have a patient with a 3 yr history of low blood pressure,
who faints easily and suffers from chronic fatigue.
All investigations have been normal, including tests for
Addisons. Consultant advice is to consider starting
her on a small dose of fludro?cortisone.
I believe that in some European countries, low blood
pressure is considered a clinical entity and is treated
with medication.
Does anyone in GP-UK have experience of this?
What drugs are used, dosage etc.?
