I thought about having a picture with a multiple choice type question.
Clicking on the alternatives would take you to a right/wrong page that had
the correct answer and/or an explanation of why the other answers were not
right (including pictures of other conditions commonly confused with the
subject of the question). You could do this for many things but dermatology,
being very pictorial, best lends itself to this.
You could have branching trails of questions by type of lesion or body
systems, distribution of rash, age of patient etc etc. The thing about a quiz
on paper is that it is not immediately interactive to highlight the areas of
deficiency. The answers cannot lead to other questions and explanations
unless the quiz is scattered through a magazine.
I would of thought that there were standard programmes in html or windows
.hlp format for such things? If not then we should perhaps write one!

Trefor, re your post:

In principle I like this idea but it will need to include interactive
features if it is to effectively exploit the CD ROM technology and
justify the expence . How do you envisage it would differ from the
usual picture quizes that the comics carry every week?
