Thanks for that. I will say no more about the saga except to say that
we are pleased that it looks as though it may have a happy ending as
you know, but for the benefit of GP UK:
We are having our 1gb disc replaced with a 2gb one next weekend at no
extra cost to us as we are considered beta testers. The testing that
Meditel have done suggests that the predicted 1gb file size limit to
Xenix is more theoretical than a physical brick wall as I had been led
to believe. If this is successful it means that no one should have
problems related to file size on System 5, at least for a few years by
which time most users will have switched to System 6000 which runs on
Unix with no such limit.
