Some of these foreign names sound pretty wacky to us (I used to teach a boy
called Kam Lam) but ours probably sound equally wacky to them. However,
even our names get out of hand. I used to work with a guy with the surname
Bollington. He always swore that if he had a son he would name him
Wellington Bollington.
(ps my father's name is (David) John Thomas).
