There is a product that is being heavily promoted. The promoters
tell us that it is a very good product. That it will transform my
life and the way I do things. They tell me that that product is
'vital' for the well being of millions of users of our services.
I, and many others, are a bit reluctant to buy that product. We
are sceptical about its usefulness, dubious about its pedigree, it
has no track record, and importantly, we think that the price is
way over the top, at a time when there is a recession in our
profession and erosion of our incomes.
But they insist that it is 'really, really, good for us. So, back
in May, I decide to give it the benefit of the doubt and take it for
a test drive so that I inform myself and others about it.
Now, there are only 2 companies who have sole rights of distributing
that product. Both companies are highly geared towards the needs and
service of customers, at least their multi-million pounds ads tell
us. It's good to talk one to one they tell us.
Ever since that order back in May I have been doing all the chasing.
That's 6 months of fruitless futile chasing. Shouldn't they be
chasing me??
In a free and open market, I would go elsewhere. There is nowhere
else to go to get this wonderful life transforming product.
He ho...yet another "Catch 22".
