No, it does work - honest guv. Eg to post to Arthur Person at the
North and Mid Hampshire Health Authority, just type
[log in to unmask] (dunno what the "gw" is)
and lo and behold before you can say postal strike, your message gets
put in a X400 queue somewhere just off the M6 in the Midlands.
Eventually the traffic starts moving and a beep wakes up Arthur Person
at his desk in Basingstoke, whatever email package he's using.
Ditto to send to Arthur's sister Annette who works for the NHS
Telecomms Branch and also uses the NHSnet X400 Managed Message
Handling Service try
[log in to unmask]
and they can post back to you, with nary a X400 address in sight !
Not sure whether the NHSnet recipient gets charged for their in-bound
traffic mind you..... any LURGers out there know (Ahmed ?)
