I agree. Has anyone in this debate thought about the welfare of the child?
How could you explain to a child that their father was dead before they
were conceived? This country has stringent screening procedures for
adoption in which the emotional and physical needs of the child are
considered. Surely the issue is not just the mother's "rights". She seems
to be wanting to turn the clock back, and this can't be good for her
grieving process.
