I agree. I think a recent MeReC review from Liverpool on lipid management
made the success rate of lipid lowering diets around 2%. Certainly in the
MRFIT study there was no evidence that diet made any difference, yet diet
still heavily promoted, presumably while we wait for the statins to come
off patent.
