Lots of interest evident from e-mail received today so here is a full
list of the files we can make available.

Word Documents

avail - a form for determining members’ co-operative rota availability

charge - a few words on the considerations which need to be taken into
account in determining the co-operative’s charging structure.

co-opqa - A list of common questions and answers re GP Co-ops.

discip - staff disciplinary and grievance procedure (links with the
separate files drivcon and recepcon, which are the respective forms of
staff contract).

drvord - Drivers standing instructions.

mancon and mantor - draft contract and terms of reference for the
general manager.

mmtor - a set of suggested terms of reference for Medical Managers.

co-operative schemes

pracrota - a suggested practice “marginal” rota proforma

premises - some notes on points that need to be anticipated in
planning out-of-hours answering centres

qualstat - A model for a quality statement.

recepman - the receptionists’ manual.

rotadiff - a comparison of practice and co-op rotas

rules - Rules of the Association.

manning - Staff manning level reckoner

startup - a form for gathering doctors’ and surgery information.

trs - a (hopefully useful) offering on handling unregistered patients.

Excel Files

callhour - Call distribution analysis showing hour-by-hour call volume
for a typical mix of urban and semi-rural territory.

capex - a spreadsheet outlining a typical set-up budget.

docpay - a ready-reckoner for evaluating the worth of duty sessions
and the budget for paying duty doctors.

dvrpay - a spreadsheet for drivers’ hours and pay

recpay - the corresponding spreadsheet for receptionists

revbudgt - a model of a typical annual revenue budget, showing
expenditure which is potentially recoverable under the revised SFA.

End of list. For those who have already e-mailed me, we will get all
this lot out to you on FD over the next couple of days. Ahmed
suggested we put it on a web site and what better than to use our own,
which otherwise contains only boring marketing bumph! The address is
http://www.adastra.co.uk

I have also asked SEADOC if I can post their clinical protocols for
asthma, chest pain, infectious illnesses in children etc, and if they
are prepared to release them I will follow this message up in a week
or two.

Best wishes, Lynn
