The Cochrane CD times out so you need to continue to subscribe to make use of it. I don't think it has lived up to its potential.....yet.
The second edition of the OTM used to be available for about £200 years ago, so presumably this a new edition.

1. The BMJ CD "Diabetes and the Eye" is quite good. Most of the pictures
are good quality, it covers the subject well and has important
refernces. aprox 100ukp
2. The COCHRANE CD has improved in in quality over th last year and
worth a look. It is still very hospital based.
3. Audio CDs of heart sounds are relatively cheap and good for teaching.
The BMA bookshop offer a 3 CD set for about 30ukp. I will get the exact
details if you cannot locate it.
4. I had a look at Harrison's text-book of medicine and thought it
considerably worse than the paper version - not worth the 300+ukp which
it cost.
5. The Oxford textbook of Medicine is about to be published on CD (maybe
already) but I would look before you buy.
