Sorry Peter, I've got to side with David on this one.
You have to be a Meditel System 5 user to appreciate the very nice
POMR structure implicit in its basic design. David Markwell definitely
built a 'classic' when he designed this interface.
I have first hand knowledge of the reactions of a number of Meditel
users (my partners among them) who when asked to use an interface
currently without instant explicit problem orientation, to whit, the
VISION system, admired all the clever little windows and interface
concepts but to a man (and woman) said they wouldn't buy it until they
could use the POMR concept just the way Meditel do it.
Quite a compliment for (soon to be perhaps) Sir David Markell?
Reuters are not silly when it comes to pleasing potential customers,
and I am absolutely sure that they will rapidly provide a proper
Meditel style interface option in Vision for us poor old 'stuck in a
rut' Meditel customers.
DIN may well have played a small part in encouraging this sensible
move.
Kind regards,
Paul
