displaying a POMR and several other views of the data which go a long way
to providing a disparate user base with a view which they prefer. There
will never be agreement within the market place that one interface is the
only one. GPs, in my experience are decidedly individualistic in their
approach the life in general and computers in particular, which is why
the developers of ViSion have tried to please "some of the people most of
the time" but it will probably never be "ALL of the people ALL of the
time". 200+ users, including a considerable number of GPs who have moved
from competitor systems are begining to exploit the potential of ViSion.
There is more to come with the new release which has just gone to beta
test and some of you will have seen the Manchester University Pen & Pad
presentation at Cambridge which gives yet another alternative way of
managing data entry!!

the simple, easy to use system and will continue to do so as it is
developed further.
After extensive experience of a number of GP Systems I made a considered
decision to work for VAMP nearly 2 years ago and I can honestly say I do
not regret it, but I, like other GP-UKers find it somewhat tedious to to
have VAMP constantly deemed an inferior system.
