You probably need a "keep alive" program. Usually available from the
various sites. Try TUCOWS or win95.com (I can provide further if
wished).
It is almost certainly the ISP server that thraws you out. A
no-activity time out is typically 15 minutes.
I moved from Pipex to Global. Never looked back!! (and at less than
half the cost of the former!).
