I agree about consistency and thats the difficult bit especially in a
large practice with shared lists. Otherwise some partners develop a
reputation for being more popular .... and compliant .... than others.
Still as a patient you choose the doctor you can manipulate the best,
dont you.
On the second point if you prescribe to save a consultation you simply
generate an expectation and guarantee an unnecessary workload that will
keep on repeating in the future. I think its very short sighted and will
continue to do so until I reach 58.
