Yes. I use Microtest too and recently had the same problem.
By the way I would love to hear from anyone else using it, I
think I am the only one not in cider country.
Your problem is that your server is emulating a different terminal
from you. This is set usually in the Unix /.profile which is unique
to each serial port. That is why it is ok on a different port.
Usually it is ANSI but if Microtest have logged in via your
modem thet have probably reset the emulation to suit themselves.
Give them a ring and get them to reset it to ANSI or whatever.
