I reckon we may as will simply give up on the notion of
general practice as we know (and love?) it.
Everything's conspiring against us: cultural trends, the
government, the rottweiler-like patients' advocacy
groups, patients, relatives, and (let's face it)
ourselves.
I see nothing wrong with GPs in supermarkets. Can't be
any worse than GPs in BUPA or wherever.
Risk often talks about the revolution. I would wager
that it is upon us yet we fear to acknowledge the fact.
Thus endeth the lesson for today.
