I predict it will cloudy over South Yorkshire on Saturday 12/10/96 at 1400:-(
How can I be so exact?
Because there is a partial eclipse of the Sun starting then:-)
If you want to observe it safely *do not look directly at the sun*.
Use a telescope or binoculars to project the image.
Watch (sic) out for ophthalmic problems in patients aftwards, especially
children. Even looking at the sun for a few minutes can permanently damage
the retina.
Above all, if you're interested, please *enjoy* the spectacle, if it nots
cloudy:-(
Trivia question:-
If had it been cloudy over Asia Minor on May 28th 585 BC, would history have
been different and why?
(Tip, it has nothing to do with Choas Theory and my prediliction for
butterflies).
