Ha! 60 quid or so :-( Nearer 80 quid or so :-( a birthday present.
I've installed W95 this week. :-( Yuk. I've just managed to get the display half
working write. W95 kept saying that the display card and the cdrom were using
the same interrupt, when they weren't. Anyway, got it going "ok" now, except the
high-lighting is missing from the menus. It was there in 640*480 and 16
clolours, but now I've got 800*600 and 256 colours its gone :-( Anyway, I've got
got M16's gaseous pillars courtesy of the Hubble space telescopce back in the
correct colours so I'm happy (ish).
Question - Should W95 still use the old config.sys/autoexec.bat files to start
up the computer?
