Well Actually, Trefor,

I don't run anything, Margaret Thompson is the chair of the previously
unofficial user group - U-MUGS (apt really but only a protest at pre-Jim
Ingram Microdoc ), Trefor is the chair of the official group - SMUG (why?).
We've decided to merge the two to really get HCSL to do something for the
users for the benefit of the users (interesting but not totally original
concept).
I also help organise a AAH Meditel /AMC group (which meets infrequently now
due to apathy but has run training sessions in the past), A Genisyst (LK
Global) group which now seems to be beyond redemption (The company!), we
tried to get a Vamp group going, but Wednesday were at home and that killed
that off and we have an active Medico group of GPs with real problems, does
anyone else out there have problems with Brandt's management style?????
We also have a group called S.PIF which looks at Primary Care IT issues
generally and is a bit of a bore, I think people who attend it think so also
as numbers have definately dropped off in the last few meetings. Could be
the chair but don't quote me >:-o
We are starting to get quite a few new EMIS users, so I might encourage them
to meet and maybe form a group.
