In fact that isn't the case Ross. If the patient feels that communication
with his GP has broken down then he has the right to go to any other NHS GP
in his geographical area and sign on. The notes take at least a month to come
through and often take the best part of three months. During that time there
would be ample opportunity to convince the new doctor of the seriousness of
the problem.
