Try these two out:
http://www.columbia.edu/acis/bartleby/bartlett/
This one is based on an old dictionary of quotations (i.e. out of
copyright)
http://www.gh.cs.usyd.edu.au/~matty/Shakespeare/
This is one of many sites which will search for shakespeare quotes
(even longer out of copyright!)
I have the Oxford dictionaries of quotations and modern quotations on
CDROM but these are not available online of course - I had to pay
money for it :-(
The dictionary on disk I'd really like to have of course is the full
OED - I only wish they'd see sense and offer it for reasonable money.
If it was £50 or less I'm sure they could mass market it like Encarta.
