I don't know of any "courses". I suggest "hobbies". The problem then is that
they to encroach on your work:-) It does enable a different perspective and
you do have contact with people other then of the medical professions (ie
real people?). And it creates opportunites for "successes" in completely
different areas which certainly can have an "up-lifting" effect. Eg
lepidoptery - this year I have seen three species of British Butterfly I
have never seen before :-)
WOW. Ok you might not be impressed, but that doesn't bother me. I'm *happy*

Find something outside of medicine that will make you happy.

I've just done an Art A level. It was fun to be in a room where most people
were half my age (and that includes the teacher!). Main topics of conversation
were Star Trek, cars, and current boyfriends/girlfriends or lack of them. Also
managed to do quite a lot of painting. Found it very relaxing after a hard day
at work, and it was 6 months before anyone realised I was a Doc!
There ARE more important things in life than medicine!
