We have open-acess echocardiography for some years. Itīs almost routine
in hypertension, provided you get in touch with an skillfull
cardiologist who sends accurates reports (with measures and function
indexes not just opinions!). In children it solves most of the puzzling
murmurs. In pre-sports participation exam is essencial. And is the best
way to detect small pericardial effusions. Nowadays, with echo-doppler
is an invaluable tool for referral of valvular disfunction.
