We're going skiing in Colorado next year (lucky us). The brochures
report 20-30% incidence of acute mountain sickness in visitors staying
above 2500m - usually minor. I've skied lots & skied higher, I've
trekked in Nepal & never had AMS (so far).
Has anybody any knowledge of AMS & its treatment/prevention etc?
Again I know a bit about Diamox, but what about its use in children....
Anybody got any good advice? Sources? References?
Thanks...
