Further to my earlier posting, I have spoken to the ethics team.
Following a complaint from a doctor about a week ago, they told Scottish
Widows in no uncertain terms that BMA policy requires the doctor to be
sent the signed consent. SW say they will "take note" of this.
Please e-mail me if the problem doesn't stop soon, so we can take it up
again.
