Poetic Truth
In this course we will be looking at how poetry approaches truth. We will be looking at what truth is and how it is represented in poetry and looking at poems that present experiences and how these are presented to the reader to best effect. We will also look at how a fiction can be used to emphasise a bigger truth. Making a Point
Sometimes it can be difficult to put across a point of view without appearing to be hecktoring, patronising or didactic.. In this course we will be looking at ways in which the poet can make their point while at the same time presenting the poem to the reader in a way that will get them to think and perhaps decide that they might agree with points they might not have thought about before. The course will be conducted online over three weeks, at a cost of £30 –

AN INTRODUCTION TO POETRY

The Poetry Kit offers a number of great mentoring packages and longer courses. THE MENTORING PROGRAMME

Our personal one to one mentoring programme costs £110 Mentoring consists of 30 lessons and can be completed in approx. 20 weeks. MASTERCLASS MENTORING PROGRAMME
Our new Masterclass Mentoring Programme is available to anyone who feels that it is time to move on in their career as a poet.
