Making a Point
Sometimes it can be difficult to put across a point of view without appearing to be hecktoring, patronising or didactic.. In this course we will be looking at ways in which the poet can make their point while at the same time presenting the poem to the reader in a way that will get them to think and perhaps decide that they might agree with points they might not have thought about before. The course will be conducted online over three weeks, at a cost of £30 –

Time, Timing and Pace in Poems
Rhythm and pace in a poem can convey a lot of meaning and add levels and tone and develop mood as the poem is being read. This is an important way to convey meaning and tone in the delivery. This is fine when the poem is being read by the poet but how do we build this into the poem so that it conveys to the reader these ideas of how the poem should be read and understood. This can add more interest and meaning to the poem. The course will be conducted online over three weeks, at a cost of £30 – https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=MHPRG2HW9BARJ
