Hi all,
We are currently advertising a fully funded PhD studentship at the Urban Big Data Centre (University of Glasgow). We are looking for a quantitative social scientist who will examine the transport requirements in job adverts (which could act as barriers to employment) and the transport incentives offered to new employees. It will use the Adzuna data collection from the Urban Big Data Centre and will employ machine learning, statistical and modelling techniques. The aim is to inform and shape policy and do our bit to make the world a better place!
The title of the studentship is: Transport justice and sustainability implications of requirements and incentives in job advertisements. More details about the post and details of how to apply can be found here: https://www.sgsss.ac.uk/studentship/transport-justice-and-sustainability-implications/.
Please note that all applications must be made through the portal on the above webpage but if you have any questions about the role please do get in touch.
Best wishes,
Fi
