Apologies for cross-posting
Hi all
I have a question for anyone who uses the Dewey Decimal System. We've always checked the British Library Catalogue when assigning a DDC number to a new item. Is that the usual practice in your library? If not, what do you usually do? And if so, how do you decide on a classification with the BL catalogue down?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
