Happy Tuesday
I am investigating options for adding a section into our literature searching training about the use of AI tools to assist with literature searching and writing literature reviews. I am also considering adding a list of relevant AI tools to our literature searching webpages along with guidance on the limitations regarding what will be found/importance of critical thinking and appropriate referencing in relation to these tools.
Just wondering if you or any library colleagues you know are already providing such teaching or advice on your webpages. I am aware of this list and guidance on Cambridge University Library webpages https://libguides.cam.ac.uk/AI/tools but could do with looking at more guidance and or training material /slides.
Leeds University has recently published overall guidance on using AI for taught students with further guidance for researchers planned soon following a consultation process. However, I am more interested in looking at it from the literature searching perspective and finding out how colleagues translate the general guidance into training for staff and students.
I have already asked on [log in to unmask] and got some useful replied. Happy to summaries all replies shortly
Thanks
Deirdre
