This volume presents an in-depth study of the Phoenician inscriptions discovered in the cave-sanctuary of Es Culleram (Ibiza, Spain). The first epigraphic findings occurred a century ago when a bronze plaque, inscribed on both sides with votive texts dedicated to Reshep-Melqart and Tinnit 'Mighty and Fortune', was accidentally unearthed at the cave entrance.

The book meticulously reviews the cave's location, environment, and characteristics, providing a historical account of its discovery and archaeological studies. It thoroughly examines the cave's function as a sanctuary, delving into its historical use.

The book then shifts its focus to the discovery of the plaque, providing a detailed account of its investigation history. The analysis expands to cover the plaque's context and support, leading to a central section dedicated to the in-depth epigraphic study of its two inscriptions. Special attention is devoted to the historical and religious implications of these texts. Additionally, the volume studies other possible epigraphs discovered within the cave.

The volume concludes by offering a series of historical insights, drawing conclusions about the cave-sanctuary, the island of Ibiza, and, in general, the Western Mediterranean during Phoenician-Punic times.
