Dear community, 

as course curator at Guardians Worldwide, I would like to cordially invite you to our new online course on health and healing. The course will also address the topic of disability and social inclusion.


Guardians Worldwide is proud to invite you to our new online course on planetary health with indigenous teachers from Brazil, Kenya and the Philippines.


THE HEALING: Personal and Planetary Health in Times of Climate Change

This 6 week online course is an opportunity to connect with other researchers, activists, academics and knowledge communities concerned
with climate change and its implications on physical and mental health. Indigenous leaders and healers from Brazil, Kenya and the Philippines will share their ancient wisdom on health and healing and present their traditional ways of caring for human and planetary health.



Topics covered:

* The interconnectedness of mind, body, and nature
* Traditional medicine and the power of medicinal herbs and honey
* Indigenous midwifery and holistic women's health
* Ayahuasca and its role in spiritual healing
* Navigating climate change through indigenous lenses
* Understanding and addressing eco-anxiety and solastalgia
* Engaging in planetary healing practices


Course Structure:

6 Week Online Course: March 5th - April 11th, 2024

Live Sessions: Immerse yourself in live discussions with indigenous speakers, gaining direct access to their rich cultural insights.

Talking Circles: Foster a sense of community and open dialogue by participating in interactive talking circles.

Intensive Course Material: Receive in-depth resources to enhance a comparative understanding of healthcare methodologies.

Accessibility: This course is donation-based, making it accessible to a diverse audience. All donations go to the indigenous speakers and their local projects on nature protection and restoration.
