Hi Andrew
We import actuals into 4Cast if you get the data out of Pro in the correct format to count your learners in the correct funding pot for 4Cast it isn't too much of an issue.
We do infill several classes together - we have created a user defined field (timetable grouping) to link various programmes/courses together. For example, an apprenticeship programme infilling for one day with a full time FE programme. Both programmes will have the relevant income fields filled in but we would only add the teaching costs to the programme with the higher learner numbers. We have SSRS reports which then group by the user defined timetable grouping field - which allows us to see the total contribution over the 2 programmes but with distinct income lines. Hopefully, this makes sense.
Regards, Marie

Hi,
We are currently tentatively making steps to implement 4Cast in our planning process. As we are starting this mid-year we are importing actuals for last year to enable us to have a basis to plan.
Has anyone else imported actuals into 4Cast especially from ProSolution and how has this gone. We have come across some challenges when trying to define infil hours and assure courses are on the correct banding.
As we are a specialist college we have a number of courses on different SSA bandings and it appears 4Cast only works on a flat rate. Is this correct?
Would love to hear from anyone who has faced similar challenges and has any advice.
Thank you
Andrew Silver
