List members may be interested in this heritage skills event. This year’s annual Historic Environment Skills Forum workshop event will be an interactive day of discussion and participation set in the opulent surroundings of Wrest Park in Bedfordshire on 27 February. https://lnkd.in/ekKBtdus
The event will revisit the work done over the past year and examine what has been achieved and what hasn’t – what the obstacles to this have been and if the priority issues defined in the 2023 workshop have changed. We will then look at how we can collaborate across the different occupational areas within the sector and examine where we may need to compromise in order to shape the priorities for the forthcoming Historic Environment Skills and Careers Action Plan for England.
The event is free to attend for any member of the Skills Forum*; but there are only 50 spaces available, so book your place quickly!
*If you are not a member of the Skills Forum but want to actively participate in tackling the skills issues for the historic environment sector, visit Heritage Workspace to join the online group https://lnkd.in/eW9uAF2C
