Hi there,
Having just moved to a new institution I find myself in the familiar position of trying to assemble, from the ground, an in-house digitisation capability once more for works on paper.
I managed to source an incredible Kaiser copy stand with lights from Gumtree for £150 about 5 years ago (wish I'd kept it for myself!) and can imagine luck like that only comes round once in a blue moon. So, does anyone by any chance have any leads on a good quality solid copy stand set up for a small museum budget? I would be interested in second hand as a first choice but would consider new if the price is ok. We have some money but this is definitely not a priority for spending unfortunately, so I couldn't really justify more than a couple of hundred. I have looked into converting enlargers before and I think this would be too involved as we have a lot to juggle and I am not in a digitisation focused role.
Any advice appreciated!
Best,
Sarah
