CALL SUMMARY:

This conference is interested in the past, present and future of cities – their architecture, interiors, urban landscape and planning policy.
Beyond considering the formal attributes of these disciplines however, the conference sets out several strands related to community engagement, sustainability, heritage and preservation and user experience.
Each strand is led by a different team at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, and is focused on the specific areas of interest and expertise of the university.
We welcome contributions from a wide range of disciplines. We seek cases studies of best practice, critiques of projects and policies, theoretical speculations and historical analysis of past and present issues related to the city, broadly defined.
