THE TED SLADE AWARD the award for services to poetry this year goes to Ronnie Goodyer and Dawn Bauling editers and publishers of the Indigo Dreams series of magazines, books and anthologies. They originally won in 2015 and are the first to win the award for a second time. Jim Bennett, Managing Editor at Poetry Kit said “The joint recipients of the Ted Slade Award for 2023 are the first people to win this award for the second time. Ronnie Goodyer and Dawn Bauling where the first joint winners back in 2015 but such has been their prominence in the fields of poetry publishing that many readers of Poetry Kit have been putting their names forward in the years between. The growing list of poetry publications contains many of the very best writers, both new and established, and this continues, and both of our recipients find new writers and help nurcher them through their magazines and anthologies. In this way their work in promoting poets and new poetry continues to grow. For all that they have done and continue to do we are pleased to award them jointly the Ted Slade Award for Service to Poetry 2023”
