This is just a final reminder for those interested in submitting abstracts for the Journal of Media and Rights (JMR). The deadline is 18 December, end of day.

This newly launched journal is now open to accept submissions of original research linking media scholarship with rights-based scholarship (https://journalmediarights.org). JMR also encourages practice-based and practice-led researchers to submit to the journal as it will actively provide a space for such research to be showcased and discussed.

Submissions can be made for considerations in the following two ways:

1. Full articles can be submitted directly via the journal’s submission portal on the website
2. Abstracts of 300–500 words can be sent to Dr Loader ([log in to unmask]) by 18 December 2023. Soon afterward, selected authors will be invited to submit their completed articles by 30 April 2024 for peer review (publication: August 2024).
