About the Modern Records Centre
The MRC holds collections specifically related to trade union and industrial relations history and (more widely) British society. Its 16km of physical collections and c.9GB of born digital and digitised materials includes the archives of the TUC and CBI, as well as the papers of several prominent figures in trade union, industrial and political history.
About you
You will be an excellent communicator, with a strong customer focus, and an interest in digital and innovative approaches to service development.
You will have a strong commitment to outreach and a track record of effective engagement with diverse and various communities and stakeholders.
You will have the ability to think strategically to develop an archives and special collections service fit for the future, and to contribute to strategy at both Library and institutional level.
You will also be an authentic and collaborative team leader, inspiring confidence and respect.
You will have extensive experience working in a managerial or senior role, ideally in a Higher Education setting.
