Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to announce the release of the fourth episode of a new series of Artery, a podcast on art, authorship and anthropology. Today's episode features multidisciplinary artist and dancer, Asimina Chremos, in conversation with medical and multi-modal anthropologist, Zihan Xu. Together they explore the nuances of authorship and relational creativity in processes of improvisation, interdisciplinarity, and diffuse identity as an artist.
How do artists understand their role in the making of an artwork? What kinds of relationships does artmaking create? In each episode, one anthropologist has a conversation with an artist of their choosing, exploring issues of authorship and relational creativity.
The series releases a new episode every two weeks, on Fridays. We would be delighted if you would join us!
