Dear BAFTSS Colleagues,
Job posting: http://jobs.nottingham.ac.uk/ARTS529523
I would like to draw your attention to this part-time 1 year fixed-term post-doctoral research associate position, to work with me at Nottingham on a study of reality TV production workers’ understandings and experiences of care. Closing date 19th December.
The role is an important part of the larger, AHRC-funded project ‘ReCARE TV: Reality Television, working practices and duties of care’. The project seeks to consider the interrelations between production, participation and policy in the UK's reality television (RTV) sector in order to produce a framework for an ethics of care. The successful candidate will work closely with the PI Professor Helen Wood and the project team (Dr Jilly Kay at Loughborough University and Dr Jack Newsinger at Nottingham University).
You can find out a bit more about the project here: https://www.aston.ac.uk/research/bss/overview/reality-tv
If you would like an informal chat about the role, or for any other enquiries, please email me: [log in to unmask]
All the best
Jack
