the Film Education Journal would like to invite everyone interested to a
free-to-attend, online Winter Symposium event, dedicated to pedagogical
challenges of virtual production in film education.
The event is scheduled for *December 12th at 5pm UK time*
Dr Alex Boutellier and Panos Raptis (Ravensbourne University London)
will present their new article 'Teaching Virtual Production: the
challenges of developing a formal curriculum'.
The presentation will explore how the recent proliferation of the
Virtual Production technologies has not only changed working
environments within the film and television industries but also
introduced an urgent need for new training and teaching approaches,
focusing in particular on an innovative case study of industry-facing
virtual production practice at Ravensbourne University London.
The event will be hosted by Dr Hunter Vaughan (University of Cambridge).
