We are recruiting at Geography and Environment @ Loughborough University.
We welcome applications for the position of Lecturer in Human Geography (full-time and open-ended) from committed and collegial academics who will complement, strengthen and extend our research and teaching interests. Applications from any relevant specialism are encouraged that can demonstrate how they will interact with, build on and develop agenda-setting geographical research and impact in Geography and Environment at Loughborough. A proven ability to work across themes and international boundaries will be of distinct advantage, as will be a track record of engaging with and developing innovative research methods. The postholder will be expected to deliver high-quality, research-informed teaching to ensure the very best learning experience.
Geography and Environment at Loughborough (https://www.lboro.ac.uk/subjects/geography-environment/) is broadly based with research organised around six themes: Cities; Children, Youth and Families; Climate-Water-Energy; Hydroclimate, Risks and Resilience; Migration and Nation; and Understanding and Managing Environmental Change (https://www.lboro.ac.uk/subjects/geography-environment/research/). We are home to the Centre for Sustainable Transitions: Energy, Environment and Resilience (STEER), setting global agendas at the heart of major international research and policy networks.
