Dear all, 

I wanted to let you know about a new, free, online filmmaking methods festival that I have co-curated with Lena Theodoropoulou. 

"Screening the Social: Beyond the Documentary" takes place between 13 and 24 November 2023. The event is free to access and will include a film programme and panel discussions.

The programme will feature over 20 films with a variety of disciplinary, stylistic and methodological characters, celebrating the creative breadth of filmmaking as a field of research practice within and beyond the social sciences. Films cover a vast array of topics, from agriculture to wild swimming; some are feature-length, some only minutes long.

Attendees will be able to watch all the films at any time during the two-week festival period using a password emailed to those who register.
