Hi all
There hasn't been much activity on here but the list is starting to grow, which is great. I'm the SIG secretary. I've probably met most of you.
Seems a worthwhile use of our JISC list to see if anyone has any questions or themes they'd like to talk about at the informal Robing room event on Friday (not sure if Chris sent out the Zoom link but if not, no doubt he'll send out soon). The Robing room events are informal chats so no need to have an agenda as such and to set out questions in advance. Nonetheless, wouldn't hurt either.
I may miss the start but I'd be interested in knowing more about what those of you in uni EALP in-sessional contexts do for asynchronous provision. It's been mooted in my Uni to give me some preparation hours to make some slightly fancier interactive asynchronous online materials because the asynchronous elements for now consist of static word documents with some information or questions students can do (and rarely do) as follow-up to live sessions.
Drop us a line at the lawsig email [log in to unmask] or better still reply on list before Friday about themes or questions for discussion.
Till Friday
Neil Allison
