This is a EXTENDED CALL for papers for the 7th International Conference on Tourism Research (ICTR 2024) being hosted by Cape Town Hotel School and Centre for Tourism Research in Africa, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa on 18-19 March 2024.
This call is now extended until 2nd October 2023.
ICTR is an opportunity to discuss all aspects of tourism research and this year, the affects that COVID-19 has had on the travel and tourism industry. As well as the general call there are a number of specialist mini-tracks open for submissions.

Papers accepted for ICTR 2024 will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. The conference proceedings have an ISSN (2049-9870) and will be assigned an ISBN on publication. Papers published in the proceedings will be considered for further development and publication in a number of international journals.

• Dr. Kamilla Swart, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation.
• Kaitano Dube, Associate Professor for Tourism Geography at the Vaal University of Technology, South Africa
• Ikechukwu O. Ezeuduji, Professor at University of Zululand, South Africa
In 2024 ICTR will be in Cape Town, which is a city renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, vibrant culture and rich history, making it the perfect venue for discussing tourism related issues.
