We are excited to invite educators from all levels and institutions to contribute to an engaging conversation on the meaning and practices of lesbian pedagogies. We are seeking thought-provoking essays and commentaries that delve into the multifaceted aspects of lesbian pedagogy across various disciplines and educational contexts.
Submission Guidelines:
Deadline: Rolling deadline - Send well-crafted commentaries of up to 3,000 words to the editors for review and publication.

Intersectionality of Lesbian and Queer Pedagogies: What is the relationship between lesbian pedagogies, queer pedagogies, and feminist pedagogies?
Pedagogical Practices and Lesbian Studies: How are lesbian pedagogies integrated into teaching practices, course design, and assessment methods?
Decolonization and Liberation: How can lesbian pedagogy contribute to decolonization efforts, liberation movements, and coalition-building?
Navigating Challenges: How do educators address challenges such as lesbophobia in classrooms, stereotypes, and nostalgia for perceived lesbian pasts?
Successes and Shortcomings: In what ways do lesbian pedagogies succeed in achieving their goals, and where do they fall short?
Awakening Radical Potential: What are effective strategies for transmitting the radical aspects of lesbian thought, politics, and practice?
Beyond the Classroom: Where else can lesbian pedagogy be practiced beyond traditional educational settings?
Submission Process:
Submissions should be well-crafted commentaries or reflections, no longer than 3,000 words.
Engage with existing scholarship, particularly in the Journal of Lesbian Studies, to enrich the conversation.
Submissions will undergo evaluation and editing by the editorial team, including guest editor Clare Forstie.
Accepted submissions will be published online as part of a special section on Lesbian Pedagogies.
